Camp Sites


-All camp sites are without services, - Most sites are 20 ft by 30 ft, ideal for tents vans and small rv and trailers.
-In the main area of the campground, larger sites are available.
- Please speficy your needs in the message box when making your reservation.

Tipi


Come and enjoy a unique experiment
Sleep in a wood tipi, the tipi can sleep up to four adults or a family

Included with the rental of the tipi:

1. A fan
2. A lantern
3. Two wood double bed (No mattress or bedding)

Campers must provide :

a. Bedding or sleeping bag
b. Camping articles (dishes , stove etc)

Services available on site of Camping Timberland

  • Outdoor dry toilet , drinking water and electricity .
  • Gathering place building for more than 50 people .
  • Tables and chairs under rustic wood structure
  • 16 kms of sandy trails, for walking or running with dog on leach , (bicycles and motor or electric equipments are not allowed on the trails)

Pumping station,activities,stores..nearby

  • A pumping station is located in the village of Shawville in the Mill Dam Park
  • Not far from the camping, approx 5.8 kms from Camping Timberland, you have access to one of the nicest bicycle trails in the Outaouais region
    . The trail is approx 100 kms long and runs throughout forests and fields. Well maintained. Accessible from Raggedchute.
  • Beautiful and quiet public beach (Norwaybay) on the Ottawa River, 14 kms from the camping, follow Raggedchute, cross Rd 148 and continue on BristolRoad
  • In the village of Shawville (10 min by car), you will find grocery,pharmacy, hardware store, hospital, restaurants-bars,garage and banks.
